Mood (previously Mood Balance) by Nedley Health is a combination of SAMe and saffron commonly used in our Residential Depression and Anxiety Recovery Program™. This new supplement can help to improve the brain’s ability to make serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine. It can assist in elevating mood, energy, improving memory, improving pain, improving inflammation, and emotional stability during hormonal events. It has also been used to assist those attempting to overcome an addiction in our residential programs.
Directions: Take one capsule daily for first week, may increase weekly to a maximum of 8 daily for desired effect. How does Mood by Nedley Health work?
Recent research has shown that saffron crocus has amazing anti-depressant properties, in part due to its serotonin production enhancing effects in the brain. [ii] Studies have shown saffron to be equivalent or superior to SSRIs in effectiveness when treating depression. Even more importantly, saffron does not have the unwanted emotional and sexual side effects of apathy or impulsivity. In combination with SAMe, these two ingredients can be powerful tools in combating low serotonin levels and increasing overall mood stability. How long will it take for me to start seeing results?
Most individuals can notice positive results within 1-2 weeks. However, results may vary and we recommend consulting a healthcare professional if you are not seeing results or notice any abnormal changes.
